The SOOC image is underexposed. I do that sometimes when I want to see what effect it gives. In this case I wanted the lit up straws to stand out. Then I worked from there with colors and contrast. And finished off with Photoshops light effect. When you see that effect you know it is Photoshopped. But I like it in some images.

This time I think "paint daubs" created something different. In my eyes it looks like old fashioned needlework with some glossy thread.

I hope to see some nice work from you even if it is in the middle of summer. And, why not go out and shoot images that would be fun working with during grey days and winter. When I see things I often think "I can do something with this". And I take some shots. And save them "for a better day".

 Wild water

For this image I´m trying out some new stuff. I wanted the image too look more as an oil painting then they normally do. To simulate normal paintings I first used the filter Underpainting. And on that one I used Filter Fresco, not palette knife. And a texture, Canvas.

Well, maybe not my best stuff ever but I learned a new thing or two in the process.

First I downsized the image to 1500pix. Then I took a copy of the image and pasted it in a second layer.  On the second copy I made a Countour drawing. Then I set visibility to 81% on the bottom layer. And to 41% on the contour layer. Flattened the image and enhanced sharpness a bit. And aded my Logo of course.  Done!

Man kan få tjockflytande vattendroppar genom att lägga i salt i vattnet. Saltvattner kan tex användas för tårar.
