En Konst att ställa ut - An Art to exhibit

My exhibition is now in place. It took me 5 h to do it with a little help from siblings. I now have a soreness in my thighs and lower back from hammering and picking up tacks from the floor. In addition to my brother and sister I got a few men ready to assist me. Creating more trouble then help.
The name of the exhibition is the name I used for the PechaKucha talk last Thursday.

From what I have seen so far there are about 1 or two visitors every 10 min going in there to take a look. To be my town I think that is rather good. The same amount of people that usually visits the Art Gallery in the next room. It is nice to watch anyway.

Today I have two SOOC images and one that is liquefied in CS5 and I used only the SOOC Reed image for that one. 

For the images I today posted on my main blog I have used both SOOC images with the sand as texture. To see them jump to NF Photo and PhotoArt 

Well, I had fun enough for today I have to do some cleaning up too.  And the sun is shining despite weather forecast said clouds.

Today I have no new art to share with you in this post. If you want to see new art please follow the link in the linky to my main blogg.

Here I want to share with you what I´ve been up to for the past two months. Not only the work I submitted to the December Exhibition but I have also made photopostes of most of the work you had to choose from and a few of smaller ones. This is my new wall. I have also three more in other places. When I finally was done I was thrilled. My art on My wall. I AM an artist. :)

Why don´t you do the same? It is worth the effort!

For the black and white I converted the image in ACR and then applied filter glowing edges to the image.

The Optional theme for next weeks DAM is: BOKEH. And for those who don´t know what BOKEH is, it is the unfokused part of an image that can be seen in my images on my photoblog. HERE BOKEH is great to use as texture if you like to do texture work.

First I downsized the image to 1500pix. Then I took a copy of the image and pasted it in a second layer.  On the second copy I made a Countour drawing. Then I set visibility to 81% on the bottom layer. And to 41% on the contour layer. Flattened the image and enhanced sharpness a bit. And aded my Logo of course.  Done!

Jag har rensat bort en del grenar med clonverktyget för att behålla färgnyanser. Sedan har jag lagt till lite stam nertill. Varpå jag gjorde solarisationen.

I took away some of the branches with the clon tool to keep nuances in the color. Then added a piece of trunk. Finally made the solarisation.

Detta är orginalet i obearbetat skick.

här har jag markerat rosen och sedan inverterat det. På bakgrunden har jag experimenterat med "remove grain". På rosen har jag gjort "sharpen heavily" för att förstärka kanterna. Sedan har jag gjort en markering innanför kanterna och gjort "soft edge" för att få den vita inre ramen. Signaturen har fått lite Grains också.
