Sometimes working in CS5 is full of surprises. This effect was created as "Paint daubs" but looks more like Oil paint to me. Well, I liked it so I stopped there.

Now it is up to you. Have a gret week, with art and christmas preparations.

I´m also linking up with Paint Party Friday

This time I think "paint daubs" created something different. In my eyes it looks like old fashioned needlework with some glossy thread.

I hope to see some nice work from you even if it is in the middle of summer. And, why not go out and shoot images that would be fun working with during grey days and winter. When I see things I often think "I can do something with this". And I take some shots. And save them "for a better day".

Welcome to join the fun.

For this I used PS CS5 and filter  paint daubs, brush 2 and sharp16. Finished with blending:  overlay

Hm, I hope everyone knows that the BOKEH is what is unfocused in this image. :) When a dot becomes a "ball" that took me a long time to understand.

The Optional theme for next weeks DAM is: BIRDS.  If you like to see what I created this week you can look at Bullfinch and Waxwing for ideas.

And, remember, Abstract is always an optional theme. Or create whatever you like.  You can even do it straight in the camera.

BirdArt meme?  A question!

Now, I have been thinking of opening a meme for Bird Art

If any of you are interested in a BirdArt meme please tell me. I need at least 10 people to get started.
