Ice Birdie

This image is really a thin layer of ice on a very slippery dirt field. Every time I visited the folder I saw a birds head. Not ice. So a bird it should be. Well, I think it is a bird :)  Today I also tested how to pick up patterns from the layer below. So, what I changed with the smudge tool is on a separate layer above and did not affect the parent layer. Something new learned today.  :)

My entry to the linkylist today is an image of a forest.

Next week is Christmas week and many will be engaged in celebrations.  Still I will run the meme as usual. If someone gets bored with celebrations you can still play :)

Wishing you all a merry Christmas!

Bildverkstan Tema 13 Clonat - Cloned

Really, I opened this image to fix it to my birdblogg. But suddenly I realise I am doing the theme of the week. :) The bird is too high up in the image and it is a pitty.

1 To participate you shall post your entry on your blogg and then link back here.
2 You shall show the original image and the finished one. Tell us what program you use and what functions and filters you used to manipulate your image.
3 Come back here and make your entry by commenting. Please give the link to the entry so we can easily find it.
4 Visit the others, learn and have fun.

Hur jag gjorde - How I did it

Program ArcSoft PhotoStudio / in english further down

(fordrar nog lite trial and error)

Program ArcSoft PhotoStudio

1 changing the image size to 700 pix wide
2 Marking the area around the bird as I want and make a copy
3 paste the bird back inte the image and moves it downward
4 now I have two sets of wings so I go into the first one and use the Clonetool to remove the wings and receive water instead. (takes some gettingused to)
5 nu I have a sharp line across the image. I merge the two layers. After that I use the Smudge tool to even out the line and make it invisible.
6 Voilá, now I have a place for my favourite frame. :)
