For this image I used the original seen below. I worked in PS CS5. I´m finally coming to grip with this software :) I used the filter PHOTO COPY on the original and that made it monochrome with a cut out touch. Seemed nice but a bit boring. So I created a light effect. This is "Soft OMNI". 

Fern on a small "shelf" in the rock. It was the blue paint that draw my eyes.

I found this little setting one morning on my walk. I think it is some kind of Carnelion that grows at a tree trunk and between stones. But even here they manage to get some light :)

This is one of the shots I took on my trip to Vättern and Tåkern last week. 
We were suppposed to look for birds and a cottage where a woman named Ellen Key lived, but I found this. Could not resist the backlit waves.

The yellow Magnolia finally came out with one flower.
I don´t share any SOOC today. Apart from the usual contrast and vibration I masked the flower and added a texure Craquelure, to the background. To make the Magnolia shine a bit more I added a light direction filter on the flower only. That´s pretty much it!  Edit done in PS CS5.

I think it was Bas Relief I used. I kind of liked it but also wanted to share a bit of the original image. That´s why there is an "opening" in it. :)  If I had been in the wallpaper business I probably would have made wallpaper of it. :)  This was a playing around session but as we all have different taste some might enjoy it :)

I´ll be gone for the weekend and will not bring my laptop so I will not comment during that time.
I will go with a group of female birders. Even if my birding nowadays is only about taking shots of those  birds.

Two images shot from a slightly different angle. Top image has the pattern of a blurred tree trunk as back ground and the last one is grass. Just moving the camera a couple of cm might make a huge difference to the image. And very different light.
