This image was taken from my window in the hotel in Båtsfjord, Varanger. Norway. It was almost dark and it snowed outside. I liked the look of the lamp.

© NF PhotoArt, © NF Art 150602For this work I made the picture a little brighter. Then I added a filter that resembled oil painting. Then I played around with some pencils I had not used before. I realized that if I enlarged the brush and used white color it looked like a snowfall. So, that is what I added to the real snow outside. Then I finished of with a little softer edges.
Sorry about the wintery look. I guess the cold outside inspired me.

ReplyDeleteSo it's true about us ... In the winter we are dreaming of warm summer breezes and in the summer we are dreaming about snow. You make the snow in the light look so beautiful, but I can still remember the cold, cold wind that tossed it about. I will say, though, you have made it look quite tempting here, Monica ... Nice job :)
