I used two images for "A night in the desert" in CS5
The first thing I did was to ad some color to the bright hole in the sun. Then I blended them with "vivid light". I tried several things but then I finished it with the filter "Dry brush" after I had downsized the image.

Very impressive and beautiful photograpghy and editing ... if I had my way, I would be heading for the desert :) Love it!
